CJay was born in the Bronx, New York. He became interested in graffiti art at a young age, and began experimenting with spray cans and airbrushes not long after. Always looking to make some money, by age twelve he began painting t-shirts at local flea markets, and soon after expanded his art to walls, cars, clothes….anything with a paintable surface.
